2016 was a fine year for film. As the Academy Awards approach, here are my picks for who’s taking home the golden guy – who will win (vs. who should win and who’s missing). We’re off!
Best films of 2016: This year proved to be another good year for film. Originality flourished, indies rebounded with great filmmaking, and documentary storytelling continued to be strong.
Star Fleet and the USS Enterprise have appeared in countless TV spinoffs and reboots, films and their reboots, film spoofs, conventions and Comic-Coms, Star Trek has not only endured for 50 years, it has flourished. Happy 5-0.
