Either way, they smell rotten to the core.

My earlier post about the summer solstice must have hit some major keywords or tags, generating nearly 600 spam comments.

Those pesky, vile, endless responses that fill up daily – adding up to nothing but wasted time.

To those unfamiliar with spam comments, I thought I’d share so that you might get your chuckle for the day. They’ve gotten quite creative to bypass filters and make their way into your pending comments box.

Don’t believe your own spam, no matter how kindly it sounds and don’t click on the links.

    You’re right, the one thing that defines spammers is determination.

    My spam filter has “protected [my] site from 15,813 spam comments already.” That’s a lot of spam for such a tiny blog.
