One set of stripes wooed Chanel, Dior and Balenciaga while the other wooed Gehrig, Mantle and Jackson.

Too easy. Henri Bendel and the Yankees. Who doesn’t know that?

I would say welcome, Tamara, but it doesn’t sound as though you’ll be sticking around. Here’s hoping you find a blog which is more suited to your liking.

    Thanks for the answers.

I was going to say Henri Bendel and the Yankees, but instead I’ll say that curiosity is never pointless.
